Maine Baseball Adds Zach Winn

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine baseball coach Steve Trimper announced today that his program has signed Zach Winn. Winn is a 6'2", 180 pound a right-handed pitcher from Show Low, Ariz.
"Zach will offer a solid power arm that will help to move the UMaine staff in the right direction," said Trimper. "With the addition of Zach, our team poses to make a strong run at the America East Conference title and returing the Black Bears to the top of the league. We are excited to have Zach join us. Go Black Bears!"
Winn was drafted in the 22nd round of the 2013 MLB Entry Draft by the Rangers after playing for Mountain Pointe High School. Following high school, he played two years for Howard College of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference.
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to the University of Maine and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
