Quintal Named Maine Gatorade Player of the Year

ORONO, Maine -- Zack Quintal (South Berwick, Maine), who has signed an NLI to play baseball at the University of Maine, has been named the 2015 Maine Gatorade Player of the Year.

Quintal played third base and pitched for Marshwood High School who posted a record of 14-4 this season. At the time of his selection, he was 4-1 on the mound with a 0.75 ERA and was hitting .414 at the plate.

Among Quintal's honors are First Team All-State honoree, two-time All-Conference selection, USA Today's America Family Insurance All-USA Maine Second Team.
