ORONO, Maine -- The Black Bears head on the road for the opening round America East Quarterfinal matchup against Albany, Maine has lost its two previos meetings this against the Great Danes. The game is slated to tip off at 7 p.m.
SCOUTING MAINE
In the last game, Maine was led by Shaun Lawton who had 16 points on the day and 9 rebounds, three other Black Bears reached double figures; Zarko Valjarevic had 11, Aaron Calixte had 10 and Troy Reid-Knight had 10 as well to reach double digits for two straight games. This is the twelfth game this season where three or more Black Bears have reached double figures in a game. Kevin Little did not play in the game due to a groin injury.

Albany enters the game as the #1 seed in the Ameria East conference playoffs. They finished the regular season with a 21-8 overall record and 15-1 in America East play. Albany has a 7-1 conference record in games that are played at home this season.

• Albany is leading America East in Free Throw percentage shooting on average 75.6 percent per game.
• The Great Danes are second in the conference in Field Goal percentage shooting 44.1 from the field.
• Albany is also leading America East in the least amount of opponent rebounds per game ony allowing 29.1 boards.

Albany's only conference loss the season came against Stony Brook 59-56 on Feb. 17.

The Black Bears have a 12-17 all-time record against the Great Danes including the two games that were played this season. On Jan. 3 Maine lost 80-56, in that game Kevin Little was the high point man with 12 points, while Aaron Calixte was the only other Black Bear in double figures with 10 points. On Jan. 31 Maine lost at home 77-59, even though they had four players in double-digits. Calixte had 15, Zarko Valjarevic had 11, Till Gloger had 10 and Shaun Lawton had 10.
CURRENT BLACK BEARS AGAINST ALBANY
Eleven Black Bears have seen action in their career against New Hampshire. Troy Reid-Knight leads Maine in points per game for against the Wildcats, with multiple games played, he is scoring 9.3 per and grabbing 4 boards and dishing out 4.3 assists. Shaun Lawton and Till Gloger have played the most games against UNH, a total of 5, and have averaged 7.2 and 7.0 points per game respectively. In the last game of the regular season in 2013-14, Gloger took down 14 rebounds and scored 15 points, helping Maine to a Wildcat sweep.
