Koizar Named to Gulf Coast Showcase All-Tournament Team

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine junior guard Sigi Koizar was honored to the Gulf Coast Showcase All-Tournament team. Koizar averaged 18.3 points and guided Maine to a 2-1 record and a fifth place finish at the Showcase.

Koizar, who finished the tournament with a 54.5% mark from the floor and a 12-for-14 mark from the free throw line, opened tournament play with a 16 points performance against Dayton. Koizar led Maine to a win over Missouri State after pouring in a career-high 30 points, including hitting 5-of-8 from 3-point range. Koizar ended the tournament with nine points and four rebounds in Maine's victory over LSU.
