Naja Harvey Named America East and ECAC Swimmer of the Week

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine senior swimming standout Naja Harvey (Orono, Minnesota) was named the America East Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, Dec. 9. In addition, she picked up ECAC Division I New England Swimmer of the Week honors on Wednesday, Dec. 10. Harvey won two individual events and a pair of relay races in Maine's victory over Bates last weekend.
Harvey won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:05.51 setting a new pool records. She was also victorious in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:25.71. Her 200-yard time also set the pool record.
Harvey also captured first in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:50.61 and the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:38.63.
