Men's Swimming Falls to Boston College, 208-90

ORONO, Maine --- Chloe Adams (Davie, Florida) and Emma Pontius (Portland, Maine) each won two events, while Naja Harvey (Orono, Minnesota) earned a first place finish along with Kailey Dowd (Mendon, Massachusetts) for the women. On the men's side, Matthew England (Bangor, Maine) and Nicholas Sundquist (Windham, Maine) each added two wins at Wallace Pool.
Harvey was a part of the second place 200-yard medley relay team (1:48.97) with Taylor Sharp (Burlington, Ontario), Amber Murray (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) and Katerina Mosquera-Cardi (Montreal, Quebec).
Adams won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of (1:55.31), the 500-yard freestyle with a time of (5:12.16), and touched third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.51). Mosquera-Cardi earned a second place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.56).
Pontius paced the 200-yard freestyle with a first place finish at (1:08.12) followed by Victoria Kingston (Bradford, Ontario) who touched for second (2:10.07). Pontius placed first again with a win in the 100-yard butterfly (58.14).
Dowd won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of (10:44.31) and nabbed third in the 500-yard freestyle in (5:18.01), while Harvey won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of (1:05.31) and grabbed second in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of (2:25.08).
England won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of (52.30) and the 200-yard backstroke with a time of (1:57.07).
England and Sundquist along with Eric Gaulin (Northport, Maine) and Peter Tirabassi (Lewiston, Maine) placed second in the 200-yard medley relay in a time of (1:37.41).
Sundquist won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.31 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of (46.95). Ryan Fahey (Quincy, Massachusetts) grabbed third in the 200-yard butterfly (1:59.18) and second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.98).
Cameron Young (Manassas, Virginia) touched third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of (5:06.61), and Connor Mayhew (Waterboro, Maine) place fourth in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of (2:02.27).
The Black Bears return to action on November 21 and 22 when they travel to the University of Rhode Island for the URI Invitational.
