Ben Davis Earns CAA Special Teams Player of the Week Honors

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine linebacker and special teamer Benjamin Davis (Harrington Park, N.J.) has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday, Nov. 10.

Davis had a memorable day as his play on special teams helped propel the Black Bears to a 33-20 win over #8 Richmond. Davis blocked a punt into the end zone and covered the loose ball for a touchdown and also recovered a fumble on a kick-off.

Maine continues CAA action as it heads to the road in search of its third-straight win when it takes on Elon, Saturday Nov. 15 at 3 p.m.
