Fall Baseball Clinic Registration
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine baseball program is holding Fall Baseball Clinics to be held on the University of Maine campus. Participants will get to use the Paul J. Mitchell Batting Pavilion and the ProBatter Simulator.
The University of Maine Fall Baseball Clinic is designed to give players a chance to enhance their individual skills, and get to compete in game situations, while receiving instruction from baseball coaches from The University of Maine. The clinic is open to any and all high school players between grades 9-12. Teams will be coached by the UMaine coaching staff including: Jason Spaulding (associate head coach), Nick Derba (assistant coach), and Ryan Forrest (assistant coach). This clinic is designed for every level of baseball player. This session will be for perfecting the fundamentals of the game while simultaneously exposing players to The University of Maine. Each session will include a UMaine Baseball practice style workout and instruction from the University of Maine Baseball Coaches and its players.
September 2nd Clinic 4:00pm-8:00pm
- Pro Style Workout
- Players will be evaluated and instructed by the University of Maine coaching staff.
September 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, October 6th, 13th, plus 2 additional weekday dates
- Sunday clinics will be broken up into two sessions to allow for individual instruction
- There is a limit of 30 players per session
- Each session will include skill instruction and drills for the first hour and a game to be played to utilized the concepts
