Swimming's Angela Bleeker Inducted into Sophomore Eagles

ORONO, Maine -- It has been announced that University of Maine swimmer Angela Bleeker (Windham, N.H.) has been inducted into the prestigious Sophomore Eagles honor society.
As noted from the official University of Maine website, the members of the Sophomore Eagles represent the top one percent of their class in scholarship, leadership, character, friendship and dignity — the five points of the Sophomore Eagles' symbolic blue star.
The Sophomore Eagles formed originally in 1926 as a younger counterpart to the All Maine Women, with the purpose of helping incoming first-year women acclimate to the university. Today, they participate in a number of charitable and campus events, often in partnership with the All Maine Women, Senior Skulls, or Sophomore Owls honor societies.
