Sigi Koizar Named America East Rookie of the Week

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine freshman standout Sigi Koizar (Vienna, Austria) has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday, Dec. 30.

Koizar sparked Maine off the bench at Sacred Heart as she tallied 12 points while matching career-highs in both rebounds (7) and assists (4). Koizar went 3-for-6 from the field and drained six of eight free throw attempts.

Maine returns to action on Jan. 1 when it travels to take on Green Bay at 2 PM EST.
