Karissa Kirkup Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week.

Freshman Karissa Kirkup named Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the week on Tuesday Morning.

Kirkup notched an assist in Maine's win over Brown University on Friday and added two assists on Saturday's game where Maine came from behind to tie Brown 3-3.

This is Kirkups first time being honored for a Hockey East award. Kirkup has three goals and four assists on the season for a total of seven points.

The Black Bears continue their season as they travel to Union College on Dec.13^th the puck drops at 7pm.
