Maine Men's Cross Country Competes at NCAA Regionals

BRONX, N.Y. – Kelton Cullenberg was once again the Maine men's cross country leader at the NCAA Regional as the Black Bears took 21st overall. Cullenberg placed 17th in a field of over 250 runners as Maine scored 555 team points.
Cullenberg tallied his best 10k time of as a Black Bear clocking in at 30:35.7, topping his previous best of 31:41.3 that he ran at last year's NCAA regional.
Alexander Moser was the second Maine runner to cross the finish line as he finished 87th overall with a time of 32:07.4. Meanwhile Maine also ran Levi Frye (144th, 33:00.3) Lucas Bourget (150th, 33:08.1) and Ryan Hardiman (157th, 33:14.9) as the trio were the other Black Bear entrants.
The Syracuse Orange took top honors at the Northeast regional as they placed every single runner in the top-30 spots. Columbia and Iona took second and third respectively.
Harvard's Maksim Korolev took the individual title as he ran the 10k in 30:11.6, a mile pace of 4:51.
