Meghann Treacy named Hockey East Defensive player of the week.

Treacy had 50 saves in the game against UNH on Sunday afternoon. She had 17 saves in the third period keeping the Wildcats scoreless.
This is Treacy's first time being honored for this award. Treacy set a new career high with 50 saves in the UNH game where the Black Bears tied the Wildcats 2-2. Meghann beat her previous career high of 49 saves that was set in a game against UNH last season.
The Black Bears return home this weekend to take on Quinnipiac on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm.
