Girls Ice Hockey Camp Set for August 5-9

The University of Maine will hold a girls ice hockey camp August 5-9, 2012 at Alfond Arena. The camp is open to all girls ages 7-18. This is a great chance to learn from the coaches and student-athletes at Maine's only Division I program.
The camp will be staffed by the University of Maine women's ice hockey coaching staff including head coach Maria Lewis, the Hockey East Co-Coach of the Year, and assistant coaches Richard Reichenbach and Tyler Bilton.
The camp includes three hours of daily ice time with instruction from current University of Maine players. There will be specialized goaltending instruction for goalies. Campers will also get off-ice training with access to UMaine's first class facilities. There will also be daily outdoor activities including swimming, field sports and hiking.
Campers need to bring hockey equipment, a street hockey stick, casual clothes, linens and toiletries. There are both commuter and overnight options available.
