Capossela Named America East Diver of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Diving standout Kara Capossela (Greenwich, Conn.) has been named this week's America East Female Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Capossela swept the diving events in a non-scoring meet at Bowdoin College on Saturday, placing first in the one meter with a score of 221.47 and winning the three-meter with a score of 240.82.

This is the second-time Capossela has been awarded the league Diver of the Week honor as she also received the accolade on Nov. 15.

Capossela and the Black Bears return to action in a two-day meet with Boston College at Wallace Pool in Orono, beginning on Friday at 7 p.m.
