Women's Basketball Golf Tournament Quickly Approaching

ORONO, Maine -- A select number of spots for the Friends of Maine Women's Basketball Golf Tournament are still available! Fans are encouraged to sign up now as limited spots remain for this wonderful event!
The 17th annual Golf Classic & Auction will take place on Monday, September 19 at the Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start kicking off the four-person scramble format at 12:30 p.m. Immediately following the tournament, fans will be invited to a dinner, raffle and auction inside the Clubhouse.
This year's tournament includes special hole features and prizes, exciting new auction and raffle items and a chance to meet and greet the 2011-12 Black Bears!
The cost of the Golf Classic is $125 per person which includes a cart, dinner and access to all festivities, or $25 if you wish to attend only the dinner and auction.
Space is filling quickly so Black Bear fans are encouraged to register now for a wonderful day of golf and fun! To register, simply fill out the attached form at the bottom of the page and return it to the University of Maine Women's Basketball Office.
Penobscot Valley Country Club is located at 366 Main Street in Orono, Maine.
