
Women's Ice Hockey to Host Brown University for Two Game Series

ORONO, Maine--The University of Maine women's ice hockey team will be hosting the Brown University Brown Bears for a two game series at Alfond Arena. The first game will be Friday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m., while the second game will be Saturday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m. This will be the first time the teams will face each other since the 2004-05 season.
The Black Bears come into the series with a 7-5-2 record overall and 2-3-1 in Hockey East action. Brown has an overall record of 2-2-3 and 1-2-3 in ECAC play. Maine is coming off a 1-0-1 weekend against Niagara University, winning game one 3-0 and drawing game two 3-3. Tori Pasquariello (Mississauga, Ontario) netted three goals in the two games while goalie Brittany Ott (St. Clair Shores, Mich.) earned her first shutout of the season and the fifth of her career in game one. Brown also was 1-0-1 in their games last weekend, drawing against Rensselaer 2-2, and beating Union by a score of 1-0.
