Tim Smith Earns Second-Straight America East Diver of the Week Award

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- University of Maine freshman diver Tim Smith (Bangor, Maine) has been named America East Male Diver of the Week for the second straight week. Smith swept the diving events over the weekend in a non-scored home meet for the Black Bears against Bowdoin College.
Smith won the one-meter event with a score of 273.60 and took first place honors in the three-meter dive with a final tally of 273.60.
This is the fourth time this season that Smith has been named America East Male Diver of the Week.
The Black Bears return to action when they take part in the Dartmouth Invitational beginning Friday evening at 5 p.m. and continuing the next morning at 10 a.m.
