Tim Smith Named America East Male Diver of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Freshman diver Tim Smith (Bangor, Maine) has been named this week's America East Male Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. Smith swept the men's diving events this weekend for Maine in helping the men's team defeat Providence, 185-110.
Smith won both one meter events that took place on Saturday afternoon at Wallace Pool. Smith won the first 1m event with a score of 271.35 and followed that up with another 1m win with a new personal high score of 279.23.
This is the third tiem Smith has been named America East Diver of the Week this season.
The Swimming and Diving teams are back in action when they host Bowdoin College at 11 a.m. on Senior Day at Wallace Pool.
