Women's Basketball to Volunteer at Bangor Area Homeless Shelter on Thanksgiving Day

ORONO, Maine – The Maine women's basketball team will be spending a portion of their Thanksgiving Day volunteering at the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.

The team will arrive at the shelter following practice that morning and will be helping out the staff with serving the Thanksgiving meal.

The shelter is a 33 bed facility that provides emergency housing and support services.

The Black Bears will cap off Thanksgiving Day with the annual Dead River Company Classic Banquet that night.
