Herrick Lizzotte was a two-year captain of the women’s swimming team. She was the America East champion 1995-1996 in the 200 butterfly, the 200 individual medley, and the 400 individual medley. Setting a meet record with a time of (4:31.97). In 1996-1997, Lizzotte was the America East champion in the 200 butterfly. She was named Most Valuable Swimmer at Maine from 1996-1999. She previously held records in the 200 butterfly and the 400 individual medley. She has served as the head men’s and women’s swimming coach at the University of Maine since 2010, after serving as an assistant coach from 2000-2010.
