University of Maine Sports Hall of Fame
Jewett is a former softball player and was an ECAC Division I and America East Player of the Year in 2000. She was a first team all-conference choice in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Jewett was a second team and all-rookie selection in 1997. She holds eight school record including most runs, RBI and home runs in a season and career as well as the career mark for triples. She also holds the UM mark and tied an NCAA mark for home runs in a game with three. Jewett played two years for the Connecticut Brakettes a semi-pro softball team and also played for the New England Riptide of the National Pro Fastpitch softball league, leading the team in hitting in 2004. She received her master's degree in sports administration from Adelphi University in 2002.
