Corbitt was captain of the women’s basketball team during the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons and led Maine to the 2004 America East Title. She was named America East Player of the Year in 2004-05, after winning America East Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2002-03 and 2003-04. She was an America East Third Team selection during the 2002-03 season. Corbitt led the team in assists for three consecutive seasons from 2002-2005. She was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2003-04 and 2004-05. Following graduation she served as an assistant coach for the Black Bears during the 2005-06 season.
