BEFORE MAINE: Competed at John T. Hoggard high school where he averaged 17.5 points, 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds ... two-time MEC Player of the Year and earned Star News Player of the Year honors in 2015 ... Following his high school career, spent a year at UNC Asheville where the team captured the Big South Championship and went on to compete against eventual National Champion Villanova in the first round of 2016 NCAA Tournament. After a year at UNC Asheville, attended Cape Fear Community College ... While at Cape Fear, was named to the Region X first team after averaged 18.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists ... was highly efficient from the floor where he shot 50.7-percent from the field, 41.4-percent from 3-point range and finished with an 82.7-percent mark from the free throw stripe.
