ORONO, Maine -- Maine men's basketball and head coach Bob Walsh announce the signing of Isaiah White, a 6' 5" guard from Harford Community College in Maryland. He previously attended UNC Asheville where he redshirted his freshman year. White will have three years of eligibility with the Black Bears. He attended Centennial High School in Ellicott City, Maryland where he won a state championship as a senior.

"Isaiah is a versatile, athletic wing with a natural ability to score from all three levels," said head coach Bob Walsh.  "He can also guard multiple positions and has the ability to be a stopper for us on the defensive end.  He's a mature young man who fits in very well with our culture, and he's really excited to be a Black Bear.  We are really looking forward to having him with our program."

White is averaging 13.4 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game in five games played this season with Harford Community College.
