ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine football senior tight end Justin Perillo (Wilmington, Del.) has been honored with the College Football Performance Awards' Elite Tight End Trophy Award, as announced by the organization on Thursday, Jan. 9.
Perillo, an Associated Press All-American third team selection and Colonial Athletic Association first team honoree, had 39 catches for 490-yards and four touchdowns. Perillo, who averaged 44.5 yards per game, went over the 100 catch mark and 1,000 yard receiving mark for his career in Maine's game at Northwestern. On Sept. 28, Perillo was named College Football Performance Awards FCS Tight End of the Week.
