TICKETS

Fans can purchase single day tickets or tournament passes in advance by going online or calling 207-581-BEAR. Tournament passes are $30 for adults and $15 for youth/seniors while single day tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth/seniors. All seating is general admission.

All games of the 2018 America East Baseball Championship will be streamed online through WatchESPN - ESPN+.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
The 2018 America East Championship field will be comprised of six teams and will be conducted over four days in a double-elimination format, beginning Wednesday, May 23. All games will consist of nine innings. Sunday, May 27 is scheduled as a rain day.

Day 1 - Wednesday, May 23
Game 1 | 11:00 am — No. 4 Stony Brook vs. No. 5 Maine                                                                        
Game 2 | 2:30 pm — No. 3 UMBC vs. No. 6 UAlbany                                                                           
Game 3 | 6:00 pm — Loser Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2                          

Day 2 - Thursday, May 24
Game 4 | 11:00 am — No. 1 Hartford vs. Winner Game 1                                              
Game 5 | 2:30 pm — No. 2 UMass Lowell vs. Winner Game 2                                         
Game 6 | 6:00 pm — Winner Game 3 vs. Lower Seeded Loser Game 4/5  

Day 3 - Friday, May 25
Game 7 | 11:00 am — Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5                 
Game 8 | 2:30 pm — Winner Game 6 vs. Higher Seeded Loser Game 4/5  
Game 9 | 6:00 pm — Loser Game 7 vs. Winner Game 8            

Day 4 - Saturday, May 26   
Game 10 | 1:00 pm — Winner Game 7 vs. Winner Game 9                     
Game 11 — If necessary game (45 minutes following Game 10)

MEDIA CREDENTIALS
All credential requests and/or needs must be submitted via email to Katie Peverada (Katie.Peverada@maine.edu) no less than 24 hours prior to the start of the tournament. Late requests will not be met.

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
Mahaney Diamond is located at 80 Long Road, Orono, Maine, 04469.
  • From the South on I-95:  Take exit 191 to Kelly Road and turn right.  Continue on Kelly Road for 1 mile until you reach the traffic light, then turn left onto Route 2 and go through downtown Orono. Cross the river.  Turn left at the lights onto College Avenue. Continue on College Avenue past the steam plant to the next University of Maine sign. Turn right onto Long Road.
  • From the North on I-95:  take exit 193 to Stillwater Avenue and turn left. Drive straight for one mile and turn right onto College Avenue. Drive one mile and turn left onto the University of Maine campus (Long Road).
Parking will be in the lots at the top of the hill.  Once you get to the top of the hill, you will see the New Balance Field House straight back (building has a big blue “M” on it).  Mahaney Diamond is located on the west side of the Field House. Walk down the service road and you will see the field on your left.  The gate is located behind the center of the stands.
