New Balance Field House

Men's and Women's Track & Field

Following a transformative renovation completed in 2014 and a resurfacing completed in 2025, the New Balance Field House serves as the home of Maine Indoor Track & Field while providing a year-round venue for competition, training, and community events. The facility supports student-athletes, regional high school programs and community partners with a dedicated indoor space designed for performance and development.

The 2014 renovation modernized redefined the competitive experience for athletes and spectators. The project delivered a fully updated NCAA-compliant indoor track facility designed to support high-level competition and year-round use.

Features include:

Newly surfaced 191-meter indoor track
Four-lane running surface
Expanded long jump and triple jump facilities
Permanent throwing circle with retractable cage
Updated lighting, mechanical, and life safety systems
ADA accessibility upgrades
Enhanced spectator seating areas
Full infield netting system for multi-event flexibility
Including resurfacing completed in 2025
