ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine baseball program has released their fall schedule. The Black Bears will open up practice on Friday, September 2. Included in this year's fall schedule the Black Bears will host four games on Mahaney Diamond versus outside opponents, as well as an Alumni game.

• September 17 at 4:00 p.m. vs. American International College
• September 23 at 5:00 p.m. vs. Husson University
• September 30 at 5:00 p.m. vs. ABC (Academy Baseball Canada)     
• September 31 at 12:00 p.m. vs. ABC (Academy Baseball Canada)
• October 14 at 6:00 p.m. vs. Black Bear Baseball Alumni

The Black Bears also welcome back former Black Bear Scott Heath as a part of the Coaching Staff. Heath was a standout two-way player during his four years as a Black Bear. Heath finished with a career batting average of .311 with 50 double and 105 RBIs. On the mound his senior year Heath was won 6 games while notching 83.1 Innings pitcher and a strikeout to walk ration of 3/1.
